The Flower’s True Essence

Television Interview Monrovia, Liberia, Africa. November 22, 1989, Liberian Broadcasting Company

Interviewer: Welcome to this special feature. Tonight we have a special guest visiting us here from India. Welcome, sir.

Thakar Singh: Thank you very much, my dear, for your warm welcome.

Interviewer: What do you like to be called?

Thakar Singh: My name is Thakar Singh, you can call me Sant Ji.

Interviewer: Okay Sant Ji, I understand that you are holding a series of talks centered around religious philosophy. Would you tell us what sort of message you would like to get across, and how does your message differ, from other religious philosophies in this world?

Thakar Singh: I am not really concerned with the difference of messages, what I am really concerned with is the truth. The truth has been given in the scriptures, but I am sorry to say that people have really not read nor understood these scriptures. They also have not received any benefit from them in a practical way. All scriptures tell man that the first thing he must do is: “Seek ye first the Kingdom of God.” They further declare, “All these things shall be added onto you,” and “Be ye perfect even as your Father who in heaven is perfect.

Now these are very clear instructions given, not only in the Bible, but in all other religious scriptures as well. The Eastern philosophies describe these truths more elaborately and in greater detail. Fortunately, I have been able to verify these truths from my own experience in a real practical way. I went through processes that awakened certain powers and so many good things in me. With these Godly gifts, I have been able to use them for myself as well as use them to serve so many others.

This message is very important and this is the reason that I am wandering all around the world. I do not charge anything for my services; they are free for this holy cause. No matter what religion, caste, nationality, or race people belong to, they are all children of God. People all have been given the same things by God: two eyes, two ears, a nose, a head, hands and feet. They all have the sun, moon, stars, water, and air. These outer gifts are given by God regardless of religion or nationality, and God’s own heavenly gifts are freely given to everyone equally without any discrimination.
